This is an amazing piece of art made by my friend, Flavio Ikoma.  Flavio Ikoma was co-inventor of the Ikoma Korth Bearing System...IKBS

All work, including the spectacular hand carved 3D Titanium insert was done by Flavio himself and completed in November of 2013

This is Flavio's Flagship Model "Grand Sampa".  This particular piece was made from a Titanium frame and carved 3D Ti insert--yes, a single piece of Titanium for the insert. Complete with Tritium eyes in the skeleton and a carved Copper back spacer
Flavio calls this one "Breakout"

Here is a brief description of what Flavio was thinking when carving it:
"This folder was a real challenge for me, it has been more than 2 years since I last made a complex carving (the Tiger for the GIII [2012] was my last one) and I wanted to make something different.
I had the idea of making the skeleton coming out of the wall and grabbing the frame, while I was remodeling my house... well I guess anyone who has ever spent months remodeling his/her house while trying to live and work in it, knows what I am talking about."
